Food, Health & Wellness
We are a members of the American Camping Association, Maine Youth Camping Association, and the Camp Owners & Directors Association. The camp strictly adheres to ACA guidelines and is routinely inspected by state and local agencies.
Food Allergies
We are a tree-nut free and peanut-aware environment. We do not use peanut oil, or peanuts in any of our meals, however, we do serve peanut butter at our tables. If your daughter has a specific dietary concern, or other food allergy, the Directors and nurses are available to make sure your daughter’s dietary needs are met.
Health Center
Camp Pinecliffe’s health center has three full-time PICU RN’s and one full-time LPN all working and living on campus, to provide 24-hour health care. The Health Center is equipped with over the counter medications and first aid supplies. Our nurses dispense all daily medications for campers who have regular prescription needs.
The Health Center also has overnight accommodations, which include air-conditioned rooms, should any of the girls require it. Our nurses and Health Center not only handle illness and injuries, but also provide a caring environment for all campers and counselors at camp.
Camp Doctor
The Bridgton Hospital is located only 15 minutes away from Pinecliffe.
Braces
We have an orthodontist available if your daughter has problems with her braces.
